Once again, the critics helped me pick a winner! - Wild Hogs Reviews
If you need further proof that critics are morons who couldn't survive in the real world, see this movie. Here's what I knew about Wild Hogs before I saw it: it was about a road trip involving 4 middle-age guys on bikes, it looked funny and because I like bikes, funny movies and Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence, John Travolta and William Macy, I'd probably like it. Then I read the critics reveiws and it totally sealed the deal! I always figure if a stuffed-shirt, know-it-all, film critic hates a movie, I'll love it! The inverse is also true: the two-hour torture-fest called "Little Miss Sunshine" proved that much. The critics loved it, and my wife and I, who were the only two people in the theater that day, hated it. The theater in which Wild Hogs was playing was packed, and I didn't see anyone not enjoying the movie. I think film critics are a lot like politicians, they think the world revolves around their words, yet they are totally out of touch with what the general public considers entertainment.
