Funny movie!!!! - Wild Hogs Reviews

This movie was funny and it did it without dirty language or heavy sexual scenes. There were references, but compared to most movies made today it was harmlesss. There were male ego and pride issues along with the baby boomer issues of getting older and accepting it. The Tim Allen meltdown made the movie worth seeing!!!

Get over it and have fun - Wild Hogs Reviews

No awards here, just a good time. Okay maybe not a totally family movie as there are things not for the pre-teen crowd, but still alot of fun for everyone else. Not all the funny stuff was in the trailers. The theater was packed and people were just having a good time. No slashing, death or mayham. Hmmm ...what a concept.

Slap stick is back in "wild hogs" - Wild Hogs Reviews

As viewers we have become more difficult to entertain because of ever improving technology which has visually enhanced movies over the past three decades, (Star Wars was a landmark). However our emotional makeup as humans hasn?t really changed, maybe a bit harder to please but essentially the same, therefore ?Wild Hogs? does the job it was intended to do, appeal to our silly slap stick humorous side not essentially the epic visual or serious intellectual elements of our being. The movie was hilarious. ?Wild Hogs? isn?t suppose to be serious, have a true plot or be profound, it is simply meant to be FUNNY in the purist sense (Like the Marx brothers). The theatre audience laughed long and loud! (From age 8 to 73). We found the simple things funny (Like the vulture). Wasn?t he just a hoot? Tripping along and awaiting his potential prey?s demise. (Great effect)! So BRAVO to the creators of this wonderful (generation gap closing movie) for bringing simple, light, fun humor back to onto the silver screen for all ages to enjoy!

I don't think so..... - Wild Hogs Reviews

I want my 30 bucks back!! This Movie is NOT WORTH seeing!!! All they did was put the funny (not-so to me) parts in the commercial so you could see the trashy movie. Martin Lawrence has done way better than this .... were these people high when they comminted to this movie?

Wild hogs(2007) - Wild Hogs Reviews

Pathetic! Four old guys making fools of themselves. I guess they all needed the money. I was embarassed for them.

Hilarious - Wild Hogs Reviews

From the beginning until the end, it was nonstop laughing............you know how some comedy movies will just have a couple of funny parts, that stand out in your mind, after you leave the theatre????.............i cannot think of any "couple" of funny parts in this........i laughed clear thru the movie........even when the credits are rolling, there's a funny scene they show.................

The critics probably feel offended - Wild Hogs Reviews

The critics are either middle age men in the middle of their own crisis who feel the movie is making fun of them or women with no sense of humor. This movie is excellent. I had not seen a good comedy in a long time. The humor is fresh and the plot is entertaining. Acting is great, but that is to be expected from these 6 (Travolta, Macy, Lawrence, Allen, Liota and Tomei). I watched the sneak preview and everybody in the theater was still laughing on the way out. FUNNY, FUNNY, FUNNY

Pure escapist fun! - Wild Hogs Reviews

Four suburban guys, each struggling with mid-life crisis, go on a motorcycle road trip. "Wild Hogs" is my kind of comedy - pure escapist fun! William H. Macy and John Travolta are good in this, but my favorites are Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence. All four provide almost non-stop hilarity. Director Walt Baker combine a funny script, a great cast, and nice New Mexican photography to produce the most hilarious movie I have seen in a long time.

Hog wild for wild hogs! - Wild Hogs Reviews

You either love this movie or hate it. My family and everyone I know who has seen it thought it was surprisinly funny. If you don't have a sense of humor don't go see it.

Wild hogs! - Wild Hogs Reviews

This was not a very good film..John Travolta needs to get his act together..mt overall would br a D+ no higher..

Horrible - Wild Hogs Reviews

I defenitely agree with the critics. When i first saw who was in this movie, i thought "maybe it'll be worth watching." NOPE. The story line is crap. The acting is crap. OK, a FEW funny lines, but even then, they were old. Even if you just want to see a funny movie, this is not the one. I wanted to leave after the first 15 minutes. STAY AWAY.

The critics are nuts! - Wild Hogs Reviews

My wife and I both laughed out loud! The whole theater was crackin' up laughing. I don't care who you are, this was funny!

Pathetic - Wild Hogs Reviews

What a waste of money, even though I saw it for free! It wasn't worth the cost of the popcorn and soda.Wait for Netflix or free tv

What an oniker!!! - Wild Hogs Reviews

This is what you get with a boring story, where the acting is so contrived it bites you. It would be better to spend your time looking at the wall than watching this painful so called movie!

People who like this movie? - Wild Hogs Reviews

Answering the review that asked the question - who are people that liked this movie? Evidently, a lot of people did. There were people of all ages, families, bikers and posers. All laughed out loud and clapped at the end of the movie. As a middle-aged biker, who has been riding since age 15, riding harleys since 76, ridden with the outlaw side, and ride with the late comers who think leather and an expensive harley makes them a biker, it was an enjoyable movie. The comedy was clean and funny. There was enough riding without making it boring for those who don't ride. I think this movie showed a lot of life's problems are caused by misunderstanding and assumptions about those who are different from what we think is the norm according to our life experiences. The other thing that stood out was the reverence the biker community still has for Peter Fonda and what he did for bikers and bikes in 1969 with the movie Easyrider. The respect and honor given to him in the movie was felt and shared by the audience. My $0.02. It's not intellectual but it is fun and you can learn something about life while having a good time with the family.

Laugh, laugh, laugh, laugh, laugh is all the - Wild Hogs Reviews

audience did. That was the funniest movie I have ever seen. It wasn't just a laugh here or there. Everyone, just kept laughting from the beginning to the end. Also, stay a bit after the credits, it still goes on and so funny. Also, a surprise person shows up that blows everyone away. I really, really loved this movie. The theater was so packed not one seat empty and I'm sure you could hear the roar of all the people way out side. Then when you get out the lines are full again. Really do go see this movie, tell everyone to see this movie. It was so funny. Don't you want to leave a theater feeling good, you do. go...

Critics are wrong - Wild Hogs Reviews

I never write reviews, however I saw the critics gave this movie a horrible grade. They are absolutely wrong, This movie was EXCELLENT! Very goofy, and the best part was they didn't use the best parts of the movie to advertise with. I hate it when commercials beat jokes into the ground so by the time you see the movie, it's not funny. NOT SO WITH THIS MOVIE, there are even better scenes! GO SEE!

Once again, the critics helped me pick a winner! - Wild Hogs Reviews

If you need further proof that critics are morons who couldn't survive in the real world, see this movie. Here's what I knew about Wild Hogs before I saw it: it was about a road trip involving 4 middle-age guys on bikes, it looked funny and because I like bikes, funny movies and Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence, John Travolta and William Macy, I'd probably like it. Then I read the critics reveiws and it totally sealed the deal! I always figure if a stuffed-shirt, know-it-all, film critic hates a movie, I'll love it! The inverse is also true: the two-hour torture-fest called "Little Miss Sunshine" proved that much. The critics loved it, and my wife and I, who were the only two people in the theater that day, hated it. The theater in which Wild Hogs was playing was packed, and I didn't see anyone not enjoying the movie. I think film critics are a lot like politicians, they think the world revolves around their words, yet they are totally out of touch with what the general public considers entertainment.

Wild what? - Wild Hogs Reviews

This movie has been thrust upon us via commercials as the funniest movie so far this year! What a crock! What you see in the commericals is the funny parts. The movie itself was very typical and at times boring and predictable. Very tongue in cheek and with the talent it could have been a great movie. Wait for this movie to come out on DVD and then see what the dissapointment is all about!

What movie did the critics watch? - Wild Hogs Reviews

I don't know what movie the "professional" critics watched, but the theater was sold out and the audience throughly enjoyed this movie!! It was clean, funny, no nasty language or blood and guts! A refreshing change, go see it!

Funniest movie, tim allen doesn't let us down - Wild Hogs Reviews

One of the few movies that starts you out laughing and ends you laughing. Make sure you stick around for the credits, as there is another clip to watch there that just shows you how funny these guys really are. We laughed so hard all the way through the film. It is a movie you wouldn't mind seeing over again. Definitely got our money's worth with this one. I never trust the critic's review on any movie, this is a classic case of why.

Not crazy about wild hogs - Wild Hogs Reviews

There is nothing special about Wild Hogs. Even a stellar cast that includes four major stars, John Travolta, William H. Macy, Martin Lawrence and Tim Allen. Even Ray Liota and a few others are thrown in the mix. This is quite a diverse cast as well, and will likely draw huge mixed crowds to your local cinema. The unfortunate thing is that the movie really isn't that good. This story is about middle aged guys who decided to leave their home lives for an across country motorcycle ride. Their group name is the "Wild Hogs". At the beginning they throw away their phones and set off for the adventure. Along the way they end up meeting a gay motorcycle cop and he particularily finds interest in the men. They also run into another group of bikers at a bar outside a small town in the dessert and they don't realize who they are messing with. They have been known to terrorize this town for years and basically bully the citizens there. Well, the Wild Hogs will have none of it and decide to stand up to them. This creates some humor but the movie just fizzles from this point on. I found it to be less funny than the audience I saw it with (sneak preview). Nothing special here and is one I would wait to see on video. C

Professional film critics are idiots - Wild Hogs Reviews

I just came from Wild Hogs. Hey, it was funny. The whole theater was laughing from beginning to end. No, it won't get any academy awards. It wasn't meant too. The critics are idiots but I think there is another big reason for their low reviews. The movie does not bow to the politically correct elite in Hollywood and elsewhere throughout the country. Yes, the subject of homo sexuality comes up and it's done in a funny way. For gods sake, the movie IS A COMEDY! Gay people were not put down, it just made for comical situations. But, to the critics, the movie didn't ram homo sexuality down our throats and demand acceptance like Brokeback Mountain did. They see this as gay-bashing, when it really wasn't. The PC Police can't stand it and gave the movie low ratings. I never decide to see a movie anymore by what the critics say. They have lost all credibility and I can't believe they are actually paid money to be idiots that our totally worthless. Look at the reviews posted by normal everyday people. They (we) know a hell of a lot more than the critics and we don't have an agenda. See the Movie. It's FUNNY!

Watch "wild hogs", it's very funny! - Wild Hogs Reviews

I guess if your job is to review movies, you stop seeing movies for what they are, entertainment. This movie was exactly that. I sat in a packed theatre to watch "Wild Hogs" and heard a roomful of laughter throughout the movie. It was a funny movie and I didn't leave disappointed. William H. Macey is hysterical, John TravoltaIf your goal is to escape, laugh and not take life or movies too seriously, then you should definitely watch "Wild Hogs".

Not-so wild hogs, but worth the ride - Wild Hogs Reviews

I generally don't like to build movies up- especially comedys, because then I wind up dissiapointed because I expect too much by the time I see them. I am not going to build this one up for people debating on seeing this film, I will tell you: *they didn't put all the funny parts in the trailor- there is more, *the acting is entertaining- although Ray Liota could have done better in my opinion. Oh, that reminds me, don't go bolting out of the theatre the second credits begin to roll, there is a little bit more of the movie contained in the credit reel. The soundtrack on this flick was great- I would reccommend buyin it. The sets and location shots were beautiful. (made me want to hop in my car and go driving) Costume and makeup department did a GREAT job, especially considering they had to deal with tattoo's on a bunch of the cast. (I especially got a kick out of Macey's tattoo) Ok, now the meat of this. If you have kids that you are debating on bringing to see this, I know it says Disney... but unless you are prepared to deal with homosexual situational comments/questions hold off - unless your kids are prepared or too young to notice such things. There are also a few moments of brief nudity (butt shots). I found those a plus, but not so much for some kids out there. Bottom line this is rated PG-13 for a reason. (MPAA: PG13 for crude & sexual content, and some violence) Parents, know your 13 year old before you say yes, better yet... go see the flick with them (even if you don't sit together- you are both going to enjoy the film)This would make a great date movie, older family movie, family movie with a sleeping baby movie... etc. I saw it with a small group of friends at an early showing and we were laughing out loud throughout the flick as well as talking on our cel phones all the way home about it. This is a fun movie that won't be winning any awards down the line- well possibly MTV/peoples choice types but that is about it. I am planning on dragging a few more people to see it later today. Enjoy!

The best family comedy in years! - Wild Hogs Reviews

I went with my whole family to the sneak peak of Wild Hogs last week and every single one of us laughed from opening to closing credits. I think what critics and stupid users that rate movies like this an F, forget that we are not watching a ridiculous Oscar film that no body gives a crap about, we are watching a comedy. Comedies are not supposed to do much more than make you laugh your ass off. AND GUESS WHAT! This film does just that. Formula to a good comedy (in my opinion): 1. Great actors/comedians I think we can sufficiently say that this has a stellar cast and anyone who thinks Travolta and Macy shouldn't have made this film should just shut their mouths. 2. Great story I think what makes comedies great is their original story. I have seen all the same cookie cutter crap that the Sandler and Farrell cast have made and was damn glad to see something original like this film. 3. Great one-liners If you don't come out of the theater saying some of the hilarious crap they say in the movie there is something wrong with you. Bottom line... this is a COMEDY! Enjoy it for what it is, A GREAT MOVIE for the WHOLE family.

Funny movie - Wild Hogs Reviews

Perfect example of when the Atlanta Journal gives a movie a bad review it is sure to be one I will love. They expect every movie to be an intellectually boring movie that is Oscar worthy when in truth only they would enjoy. Being a middle age guy I truly enjoyed the movie and am now shopping for a Harley. I thought it was funny and from the reaction of the audience in the sneak preview so did everyone else. Remember the Atlanta Journal originally gave Forest Gump a C- as a rating. Have fun at a truly funny movie.
